When should I make my reservations for equipment?

A good rule of thumb is to reserve your equipment when you arrange your other travel plans.

To guarantee the best experience, we highly suggest you make your reservations as soon as you finalize your travel plans, particularly during peak seasons such as Spring, Fall, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's, and during local events. Since cribs and other items may be in high demand, booking your gear when you finalize your travel arrangements can ensure a seamless and stress-free journey.

When is payment due?

Full payment is necessary upon booking. Your items are reserved exclusively for you, guaranteeing their unavailability to other potential customers, similar to booking a luxury vacation rental.

Do you have a minimum rental period?

Yes, our rates start with a minimum of a 3-day rental. If your stay exceeds 3 days, the daily rate will be applied. We also offer special monthly pricing for all equipment on bookings that extend beyond 28 days. For monthly rates, please contact us directly.

Where do you deliver to?

We deliver to all of the Phoenix valley including: Chandler, Gilbert, Sun Lakes, Maricopa, Gold Canyon, Scottsdale, Tempe, Mesa, Apache Junction, Queen Creek, Phoenix, Paradise Valley, Carefree, Cave Creek, Fountain Hills, Peoria, Glendale, Surprise, and Goodyear. A delivery rate of $30 applies to all orders and includes set up of your selected gear and pick up when your stay ends.

If you are flying into Sky Harbor Airport and are continuing on to Flagstaff, Sedona, Tucson, Prescott, or any other city outside of the valley, arrangements can be made to drop off at the rental car center.

Sky Harbor Delivery & Pick up

BabyButler is happy to meet you in person at your Rental Car Center to deliver your smaller requested items. A delivery rate of $30 applies to all deliveries to Sky Harbor. We will not leave gear for you to pick up, and you must meet with BabyButler in person to receive/ and or return gear.

When arranging deliveries or pickups at Sky Harbor, we recognize that delays can occur. We provide a 10-minute grace period following the scheduled drop-off or return time. Any delays beyond this period will incur a charge of $30 per 15 minutes of waiting, unless we are notified at least 2 hours before the anticipated delay or change in return time. We understand that delays can be frustrating, and we appreciate your clear communication throughout the process.

What if I need to cancel my order?

Cancellations made 48 hours or less of your scheduled rental date will not be refunded. We reserve equipment for you and last minute cancellations do not allow us the time needed to offer your reserved equipment to another family.

Cancellations made 3-6 days prior to your scheduled rental date will be refunded 50% of your total rental cost.

Cancellations made 7+ days prior to your scheduled rental date will receive a full refund.

No refunds will be provided for early returns or unused rental days.

Can I pick up my own rentals?

No. BabyButler only delivers your gear to the location designated in your booking.

How do I know if your equipment is safe?

At BabyButler, we prioritize safety above all else. We intentionally select equipment with the highest safety ratings and conduct thorough inspections after each use. Additionally, we keep on top of the latest recalls from the US Consumer Product Safety Commission.

Are the items I rent clean and sanitized?

Absolutely! We meticulously sanitize all baby equipment following each use. Understanding the sensitivity of babies' immune systems, we ensure thorough cleanliness. All items undergo a rigorous check and cleaning prior to pickup and delivery, utilizing safe, non-toxic cleaning products. Even if an item is not used during the rental period, the items still goes through a thorough cleaning and sanitization process upon return.

What are the consequences of damaging, returning very dirty, or losing the baby gear?

Once the gear is delivered, you assume responsibility for its condition and must return it as received. Food and beverages should not be permitted near any equipment, with the exception of high chairs or booster seats. Smoking around the equipment is also prohibited, as fibers and plastics may absorb the smell. If items are returned excessively dirty, such as with vomit or diaper incidents, or reeking of smoke, an additional cleaning fee of $75 per item will be charged. Should an item be irrecoverable or the smoke odor unremovable, you will be billed the fair market value for replacement.

What if I don't know how to operate or use a piece of the equipment that i rented?

Contact BabyButler via call or text! Additionally, you can visit the manufacturer's website for more information or search YouTube for a manufacturer's video. Car seats are always accompanied by a manual, or you'll receive a link to the installation instructions.

Will you install my car seat?

BabyButler cannot install car seats for customers due to insurance and liability concerns. However, we ensure that the equipment manual is included with your delivery, or we provide a link to the installation instructions.

Basic instructions are often printed directly on the car seat as a reminder or guide. It's crucial to consult the user manual to ensure that the car seat you're renting is correctly secured and installed. If you prefer a professional to review your installation, a certified technician is available through the NHTSA.

Will you rent car seats that have been in an accident?

The necessity to discard a car seat after a minor crash varies by manufacturer. Certain brands may not require the disposal of a car seat if it is involved in a minor collision, as specified by their guidelines.

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), defines a minor crash as one that meets all of the following:

  • Vehicle was driven away from the scene
  • No airbags were deployed
  • No damage occurred to the door closest to the car seat
  • No visible damage to car seat
  • No injuries to any vehicle occupant (includes soreness)

If all of the criteria listed above is met, Britax, Cosco, Maxi-Cosi, Nuna, Safety 1st, and UppaBaby brand car seats CAN be safely reused and/or rented.
